USF Lakeland students have collected infant supplies and on Monday, June 29, they donated them to the American Red Cross Polk County Chapter's Disaster Action Team. The supplies are distributed to people affected by single-family disasters, as needed.

After hearing about how one mother was scared to death when her son nearly drowned, but was relieved when a helpful stranger performed CPR and revived him, an aunt decided the best way to protect her niece is to learn it herself.

American Red Cross volunteers helped an Auburndale family on Saturday, June 27, after fire caused major damage to the home. Support your local Red Cross.

Late Friday afternoon (June 26), volunteers with the American Red Cross Polk County Chapter helped a family of six in Lakeland after a home fire. Please follow fire safety precautions and support your local American Red Cross.

When USF students in Lakeland read about families being helped by the Red Cross, they decided to help, too. They are gathering disaster supplies for the Polk Red Cross Disaster Action Team to distribute, as needed.
